Ambassador Wei Hongtian Inspected the Renovation Project of National Cricket Stadium with Hon. Delma Thomas

On October 2, 2024, H.E. Wei Hongtian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Grenada, accompanied Hon. Delma Thomas, Minister for Mental Health, Wellness, Religious Affairs and Youth and Sports of Grenada, to inspect the Renovation Project of China-Aided Grenada National Cricket Stadium.

Amb. Wei and Minister Thomas listened to the Chinese Technical Team’s presentation on the status of the renovation project and the next phase of the work plan, and expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of the ongoing project. Thomas thanked China for its generous assistance and support to Grenada in the field of sports infrastructure. They agreed to further strengthen coordination and cooperation to ensure the smooth completion of the project by March next year.
